From intern to CEO

With the much-discussed skills shortage, we are currently aiming at filling open positions internally – as far as possible – and thus offering our own, proven employees interesting positions and opportunities for advancement. We see this as a form of appreciation.
I myself started at proxomed as an intern and joined the product management department after finishing my sports science studies, before then switching to management at our production subsidiary proxowell, finally rising to become chair of the management at proxomed. For this reason, we mostly offer entry-level positions. For these, we are most interested in hiring generalists who share our company philosophy.
Desire is more important than ability for our starter jobs. All employees are encouraged to share their knowledge with other colleagues so that every individual can improve. We very carefully check whether an applicant’s personality will fit our company. Naturally, we know that loyalty to employers is not as highly valued today as it was previously, but we do try to retain our employees over the long term and make them enthusiastic about our company through unified leadership standards, interesting tasks and internal promotion prospects.
There are many employees who have been with us for years and others who have returned to proxomed/PHYSIOMED after time away. This gives us the feeling that we are doing something right.

Information on the town
Alzenau, the most north-westerly town in Bavaria, has around 19,000 inhabitants and is directly on the border of the Lower-Franconian county of Aschaffenburg with the state of Hesse (Rhine-Main area). This centrally located “green town” lets you combine proximity with nature and urban living in the best possible way. The Spessart outdoor recreational area and the city of Frankfurt are only a stone’s throw away.

So that you can easily get on board, you will be given an initial view of every department; we will draw up an individually tailored induction plan and assign you a mentor if you want one for the first year here.
Hire and fire, quickly taking people on board when new projects come up and as quickly terminating their contracts at the end of the project: this is not our style. We carefully choose our new colleagues because we place great value on long-term collaboration.
