tergumed® 3D is a three-dimensional, computer-supported test and training (CTT) device for the spine-stabilizing muscles.
Measurement of the range of motion of the spine, especially in the thoracic and lumbar segments. The measurement can be realized simultaneously in the 3 anatomic planes. It is possible to objectify existing deficits of the range of motion, define treatment targets and document the treatment progress.
Measurement of strength in the 3 anatomic planes of the thoracic and lumbar segments. Datas will be compared with reference values, which are calculated by a biomechanical formula.
Realization of a specific training (treatment) of the sensomotoric system of the thoracic and lumbar spine joint motor function under isometric and dynamic working conditions. The training goals are to reduce existing muscular imbalances and deficits and to regain and improve the natural range of motion and load of the spine in those segments.
From test to training: test results are used to realize a specific training in the different planes.
